Hive & Co was born from my love of creating beauty and meaning in life’s most special moments. When I planned our wedding in 2020, I found so much joy in every part of the process — picking out vases, choosing colors, arranging silk flowers, and making sure everything felt cohesive and full of heart. I loved seeing it all come together and realizing how those little touches made the day feel perfectly us.

That experience lit a spark that never went away. Over time, I fell in love with how creative and personal events can be. Whether it’s a cozy birthday party, a family gathering, a retirement celebration, or a big, extravagant event, I want to help make your occasion hum with energy, joy, and connection.

By day, I’m a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist — a career that I truly love. It’s meaningful, creative, and always keeps me thinking outside the box. But I’ve always had a passion for design, styling, and creating spaces that make people feel something. I’ve decorated for countless gatherings, and every time someone would say, “You should really do this as a business!” Of course, imposter syndrome crept in — I wondered who would ever pay for my help. Then came a wedding… and I was hooked.

A little about me: I grew up in LeMars, Iowa, went to Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for undergrad, and earned my master’s degree at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. I’ve been practicing as a SLP for six years now. My husband and I lived in Kansas City for three of those years before moving back to his hometown of Luverne, Minnesota — close to family and back to our roots.

My goal with Hive & Co is to bring your vision to life without breaking the bank or adding extra stress. I’ll take care of the planning, setup, and all the behind-the-scenes details so you can focus on enjoying every moment. You dream it, and I’ll make it happen with heart, creativity, and care.
